Terms and Conditions

By entering the “Win a 365 Days of Wine and Food experience” competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:


1.1    Information on how to enter “Win a 365 Days of Wine and Food experience” is hosted at the back of the South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA) website. Entrants to access this information by visiting www.facebook.com/365daysofwineandfood.  Contact details are to be entered into SAWIA website competition form, hosted within an iFrame tab on the Facebook Page.  This competition is not associated with, nor endorsed by Facebook in any way.


2.1    Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia over the age of 18.
2.2    Employees and their immediate families of South Australian Wine Industry Association and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.


3.1    The competition commences on Friday 3rd May 2013 at 9:00am and concludes on Friday 31st May 2013 at 5:00pm.
3.2    In order to enter, viewers must complete the online entry form during the competition period.
3.3    Entrants in the competition may enter the competition only once per unique entry.
3.4    Weekly prizes will be drawn each Friday at 12 noon during the competition period.

4.    PRIZES

4.1    There will be four winners.  The winners will receive one of the prize packages each, as set out below.
4.2    The prize consists of:





Five star Barossa experience at Jacob’s Creek, Barossa

Exclusive 5 star Barossa experience at Jacob’s Creek. Package includes two (2) nights accommodation for four (4) people in the “Jacob’s Family cottage” located in the 42ha Jacob’s Creek Visitor Centre precinct, breakfast provisions and a private dining experience with a Jacob’s Creek chef cooking lunch just for you in the outdoor kitchen using  produce from  the kitchen garden and Jacob’s Creek wines to match. Getaway at Cleggett Wines, Langhorne Creek

Cleggett Wines is an overnight stay for two in our Tourism Accredited Studio Room.   The room has a queen size bed so it is suitable for a couple or a single.  Our studio room is a spacious contemporary room overlooking the garden and vineyards and within our cellar door complex.  There is an adjacent bathroom and light breakfast provisions plus a free wine tasting.  Guests may choose to self cater in the fully equipped cellar door kitchen or to dine at the local hotel which is within walking distance. It is a great opportunity to explore the region, hear some of the wine family stories and visit some of the cellar doors.

Blending Bench experience for 4 at d’Arenberg Wines, McLaren Vale

Unleash your inner winemaker and create your own personalised wine at the Blending Bench!
We did the physical work – picking, crushing, fermenting, foot treading, basket pressing and barrel aging, and now you get to do the fun bit!This is a hands on, interactive experience where you play winemaker, and then bottle a 750ml sample of your favourite wine blend to name (in a quirky d’Arenberg fashion) and take home to show off to your friends.


4.3    The winners will be notified by email to claim their prize.
4.4    In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition.  The winners agree to granting the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.5    Prizes can be transferred but not redeemed for cash.

5.    HOW TO WIN

5.1    There will be four winners chosen from total pool of entries received.  Each entrant who has entered the competition over the duration of the competition and registered all details required (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be eligible.  Four winners will chosen randomly.
5.2    Winners will be notified by email each Friday during the campaign period.  The winner’s name and photo will be published on the 365 Days of Wine and Food social media platforms on during the campaign period and remain viewable.
5.3    The promoter’s decision is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.4    The promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize.  It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.


6.1    In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
6.3    The South Australian Wine Industry Association will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim that may occur:
a)     during the draw;
b)    whilst undertaking any activity in or connected with their entry into the draw
c)    in the participation in any prize;
f)    in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
g)    arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion;
6.4    The South Australian Wine Industry Association assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
6.5    If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition
